Wi-Fi   availability

Wi-Fi is available for free inside the museum and in the outside garden. The password is displayed inside the museum.

Coin locker

(1st floor basement)

100 yen is   required but will be returned to you after you use the locker.

Rules

  • No food or drink allowed in the museum (you may have drinks in the Resting place (1st floor basement) and vending machine corner (1st floor))
  • You may take pictures but may not use tripods, selfie sticks, or take pictures with flash inside the exhibit room. 
  • Helper dogs (seeing-eye dogs, assistance dogs, and hearing assistance dogs) are welcome. Pets are not allowed.
  • Please remain quiet (and do not disturb other guests)

Access


From JR Nagasaki Station

  • Streetcar
    Take streetcar #1 or #3 bound for Akasako, get off at Hamaguchi-machi, and it is just a five minute walk.

  •  Bus
    Take the bus bound for Nameshi, Togitsu, and Menoto, get off at Hamaguchi-machi, and it is just a five minute walk.

From Nagasaki Airport

  • Nagasaki Airport Limousine
    Take the bus bound for Nagasaki Station (via Urakami/Sumiyoshi). Get off  at Matsuyama-machi bus stop and it is just a five minute walk.

From the highway

  • Car
    Enter the Nagasaki bypass from the Nagasaki Expressway “Nagasaki Tarami IC” road. The museum is about 5 minutes away from the center of the city through the “Kawabira IC (bound for the Peace Park/Showa-machi) exit.
